1. Service description

Vintor is a vehicle intelligence platform for the Dutch used-car market. We provide insights into vehicle data based on public sources.

Vintor is not a car dealer. We do not sell cars, do not mediate purchases, and do not provide purchase advice. Our service is purely informational.

2. VintorScore disclaimer

The VintorScore is an indicative score based on publicly available data and statistical models. The score is:

• Informational only — it is not a valuation, inspection, or guarantee of vehicle quality.
• Based on public data — the score cannot reflect all aspects of a vehicle's condition.
• A tool, not a replacement — always have a vehicle independently inspected before purchase.

We display confidence levels to indicate how complete the underlying data is. A lower confidence means less data was available for the calculation.

3. Data accuracy

Vintor sources data from the RDW and public marketplace listings. While we strive to display accurate information, data may:

• Be incomplete if source data is missing.
• Be delayed relative to the current state of the vehicle.
• Contain errors due to inaccuracies in the source data.

We display confidence indicators to help you assess the quality of available data.

4. User responsibilities

As a user of Vintor, you are responsible for:

• Independently verifying information before making a purchase decision.
• Having a professional inspection carried out before purchasing a vehicle.
• Not basing purchase decisions solely on our reports.

5. Intellectual property

Vintor's scoring methodology, including signal weighting and combination, is the property of Vintor. You may not:

• Reverse-engineer or reconstruct the scoring methodology.
• Systematically scrape or harvest our data or scores.
• Commercially redistribute our reports or scores without written permission.

6. Limitation of liability

Vintor is not liable for:

• Purchase decisions based (in part) on our reports or scores.
• Inaccuracies in the third-party data we display.
• Damages resulting from the unavailability of our service.

Use of Vintor is at your own risk. Our service is provided "as is" without any warranty.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
